Am I really supposed to fill all this out? It's so long...
There's not much to tell. Name's Lighter. When I'm not too busy being kidnapped, you can find me in the Outer Ring. As the undefeated Champion, I defend the honor of the Sons of Calydon.
Here? Just playing the game.
Settling scores with my fists. Oh, and I'm not half bad at errands.
Caesar's more of the reader between us, but she never lets me touch the books I pick up for her. Movies... disaster? Romance is alright too. Music is whatever's playing in Steeltusk. Though when boss and Lucy get on the piano, it's got a nice sound to it. As for food... anything convenient and edible. Taste is a bonus, I guess. On the go or in a Hollow, lollipops work fine for me.
[ he left this blank like a coward. ]
Beer, if there's no Nitro-Fuel around.
.02 CLOWNS OR MIMES
...Clowns?
.03 SHOWER OR BATH
Shower, it's more convenient.
.04 PIRATES OR NINJAS
Pirates. Hollow bandits are pretty similar.
.05 TITS OR ASS
Uhh. Either, I suppose...
.06 COFFEE OR TEA
Coffee.
.07 SPICY OR SWEET
Sweet.
.08 SUMMER OR WINTER
Summer. Not much winter to speak of at home.
.09 LEATHER OR LACE
Leather. Easier to clean.
10. ROUGH SEX OR GENTLE SEX
Hey, who's asking?

the honest answer is - not for anything so material as money. the concept of a 'soul' is about as abstract as time itself, but such a thing cannot be written off when the will of the aeons exist. his had been blessed, one way or another. his life and existence, cursed with gaiathra's adoration. even the laughter had been interested, and then —
aventurine sighs when he realizes he had gone too long being quiet. it gives away enough. )
I do.
( and he won't elaborate for once, or yap away. telling enough as is. )

But he can take an educated guess, based on his previous answers. ]
Well, then. There's your answer. [ It only take a moment for him to sigh as if he's sloughing something heavy off his shoulders, tone lilting upwards in its rust and sunlight. ] I've gotta say though, my second place is when I took a guy up on a drinking game during Settlement Days for a pretty chunk of change — said I knocked a flower off his favorite cactus, or something. I won, of course, but then his buddy challenged me to a duel right after to take it back, which I also won, but I don't think I've ever felt that sick in my life.

second of all, there's a discrepancy between those answers that is almost amusing to experience. it tells him something, perhaps. that - allegedly - selling his soul wasn't so much a big deal or, at the very least, it's something he has learned to live with. the past has happened, and unchangeable as it is, one must deal with the consequences of it.
something, in part, that aventurine can understand. )
You've had quite the eventful life, my friend. Do you find the resort terribly boring in comparison, or is it only a new adventure in your journey?

Now there's a question. I wouldn't call it boring... at least not in the traditional sense. But it sure doesn't feel like an adventure I'd choose to be on, either. Being all cooped up indoors like it's desirable is a weird feeling.

You're in luck, then. That's an opinion shared by many people here. Surely that makes the experience at least a little easier to swallow?
( no pun intended. prommy. )

Is it? I guess you can only sell the luxury vacation angle so much before the debts start to sink in. Are you taking any solace in misery loving company?
